About Joanne Plummer AIFD, CAFA Joanne has been delighting flower lovers in Ottawa with her unique design style for over 30 years. Her passion for flowers, and her love of business led
her to open her boutique, Mill Street Florist, in 1987. She continues to show dedication to her industry through her eagerness to give something back to the
art that she loves, by encouraging young people to enter into the study of floriculture, and mentoring budding young businesswomen.
As a founding member of the Canadian Academy of Floral Art (CAFA),
and an active member of the prestigious American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD), Joanne is recognized
across Canada and the United States as a leader in her field. Joanne frequently demonstrates her talents publicly at various speaking engagements, and you can
often catch her as a guest of Leanne Cusack on CJOH Midday Newsline.
